THIRD POST by Gama’ Lor aka Marshall F. Gilula, M.D.
We are definitely rolling with the punches !
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that dozens of people have written in because the total number of comments has totaled only one dozen so far. But four comments included complaints about invasiveness of the Google Blogger, which is the software engine making this blog site possible. Nevertheless, I am humbled by the awareness and consciousness savvy displayed by everyone who has written in. Please continue.
Bring it on !!
The punchiest and most elegant terse comment comes from Shana in Silicon Valley. She wrote, “MO the power of symbols is in their ability to evoke your own potential, to drag it out kicking and screaming if necessary.”
She is quite right, and her comment rings oh so true for numerous events in human history that have been stimulated by either the Cross or the Swastika. Both symbols have been associated with innumerable examples of human vs. human destructiveness in the name of fervent belief systems. Yet the Cross itself can also be a holy example of spiritual redemption, of miracles, and other mysterious manifestations of The True Believer. A reverse form of the Swastika has been used in some Native American ceremonies (including the Plains Indians) as a sacred symbol of the Ghost Dance which began in prehistoric times and ultimately became part of a revitalization movement in America as a reaction to forced relocation to government reservations. However, the original Ghost Dance stressed a holy connection to ancestors and the Great Spirit while facilitating a continuity of respect and reverence throughout all the generations.
Meditation is another often silent form of revitalization that usually does not involve or require kicking and screaming. Meditation and all other human growth techniques definitely have the characteristic of enhancing the evolution of spiritual potential. What this often means is that continued practice in focusing, relaxed breathing, and personal mind regulation brings up one’s internal issues from this and past lifetimes. The meditator is free to recognize and deal with these issues or not. Dealing with personal issues can liberate an incredible amount of energy that becomes available for doing things other than hiding “inside” from troublesome issues. That’s why they are called issues. Merely watching the Qua Omsa La’ Juwann DVD on a daily basis without any special meditation can pull up some of your own personal issues for you to view.
I was very grateful to receive some detailed comments from a Russian computer engineer and noetic scientist. Tatiana from Russia sent me these detailed comments of her experiences that occurred while watching the DVD with a disciplined meditative focus:
“Using symbols for different purposes exists since no time. They are carry informative and Spiritual Growth properties that can affect person on all levels.
The Biaviian symbols are filled with personal messages related to the person who receive that symbol.
Although symbols are repeated: numeric: 3, 7, 21; Pyramids, Spheres, Ankhs, Snakes, colors, etc.. for every one is different message. It loaded in combinations, colors, and dynamics.
When I saw DVD I could definitely read some messages, but did not indulged myself since it was a private and I also did not wish to relate to it.
The movie itself is quite suggesting, helps to open up to what ever need to be open to. After watching 3 times I could say that was sitting in the middle of chatting, words and suggestions were floating in my head. That was interesting.
The rapid movement of symbols have had a special effect on me: despite of speed (slice of second) my attention was fully concentrated and could see tiniest details of that picture. That was a good news to me: opened ability to fully concentrate in that situation.
Then special effect was when I added movements to existing rapid ones: Lifting up separate symbols, added dynamics, the same done to the whole picture....Of course all is 3 D for the eye and that added time: 4 D. Time stopped when I was doing it upon my wish. As result - the meaning disappeared and appeared flow of constantly changing energy.
Rapid movement one picture and then another with my added activity created sensations of being in different civilizations. Power of Mind? R/L brain balancing?Or maybe just a game of imagination and quite addictive I may say. It really does not matter, it is a great tool for self development.”
Because she is a sincere scientist who was often forced to deal with political persecution, I am very grateful that she trusted me enough to describe exactly what she experienced with the Biaviian Symbol DVD. Even with the previous research I did on computer models of the symbol groupings before making a kinetic video, I must say that Tatiana definitely gave me food for thought and for contemplation. How about you? Her descriptions portray some very real consciousness events that can occur with meditation practice. She is saying that the DVD can encourage or facilitate such consciousness events. My take on her comments is that she also reminds us that what comes up into our awareness while meditating and/or watching the Biaviian Symbol Meditation DVD is coming from within ourselves.
Another physical scientist with 20 years’ meditation experience, Norbert from Michigan, writes the following:
“I watched the entire DVD. While watching it, I noticed different parts of my brain being energized, particularly the frontal lobe and the lower cerebellum. I also noticed that watching it had a calming effect on me. Afterwards, I observed an increase in the strength and projection of my aura. Perhaps each person has their own unique response to this DVD. Possibly it helps to open up what that person needs unfolded.
For me, many of the symbols, which are grouped in sevens, represent the chakras. The symbol of the bird with outstretched wings represents resurrection. Many of the pictures contained a pair of serpents that maybe represent the raising of the kundalini. The symbols reminded me of those from The Wingmakers. Possible they are all coming from the same source.”
A noted professional musician, Five Strings, presents a different viewpoint. He writes:
“I guess if Riley Martin draws attention it’s going to help. I myself would be turned off because if no one from another world will make themselves known to me then either I'm not entitled to know or it's b.s. In the years that you have not seen me I have experienced a very cruel and unforgiving world of people too effed up to stop destroying ourselves. I've witnessed too many self proclaimed avatars making spirituality a business and living lavishly from the profits. What about Gene Roddenberry's prime directive? God is going to let us eff up everything because for the most part sadly enough that's the only way we’ll learn anything. I'm no effing cockroach to be looked down on so if they’re around they can talk to me. If I am looked upon as a cockroach then eff'em. We could just be some superior beings' Nintendo game called, ‘Lets eff with the humans while we all kill each other over proving our interpretation of god is the right one.’ I have found no matter what you want to believe we all come to terms with the illusion of reality in our own personal way.”
Five Strings takes a breather from his rant, and continues: “It was in my mail box waiting for me when I got home. As soon as I got in, I put it in the DVD player and watched the whole thing till it started to repeat. The colors were pretty and I saw a myriad of variations of the ONK, Sphere's, snakes and even a menorah. To me it was like a cross between Japanese Anime and a Grateful Dead Poster. I felt no effects from watching it but the music had a joyful feel, the jazzy guitar was nice and it all looked and sounded well produced. The whole experience only provoked thoughts about how the more enlightened I get the more disappointed with the world I get. Sometimes I feel like the alien stranded on some wacked out planet where nothing makes sense and all there is to do is to figure out how to survive it.”
In conclusion, he offers us an interesting streaming video of “Esoteric Agenda” located at http://www.editorialdigest.com/videos/esovideo.html. One reader of Riley's book, The Coming of Tan, had called me about this film and reminded me that Riley wrote his book over 20 years ago. She said, "Now how did he do that?" She noticed many clear parallels. Hmmmmm.
Thanks to all of you for the generous gifts of your time, brainpower and heart power.

You all may e doing more than youu know, individually and collectively -
The Glass Bead Game or Magister Ludi (set in the 23rd Century) describes a cadre of individuals and their headmaster -- the Magister Ludi -- engrossed in interdisciplinary play engineering cultural values from behind the scenes. Hesse never forthrightly explained just how the game is played, but gave many hints to its structure for future aspirants seeking solutions to the critical predicament of mankind through Global Architectronics. The Glass Bead Game requires that its players synthesize aesthetics and philosophy. The Glass Bead Game is thus a mode of playing with the total contents and values of our culture; it plays with them as, say, in the great age of the arts a painter might have played with the colors on his palette. The Game's synthetic, non-linear information play is a forerunner of virtual reality.
After each symbol conjured up by the director of a Game, each player was required to perform silent, formal meditation on the content, origin, and meaning of this symbol, to call to mind intensively and organically its full purport. The members of the Order and of the Game associations brought the technique and practice of contemplation with them from their elite schools, where the art of contemplation and meditation was nurtured with the greatest care. The variety of the phenomenal world reached perfection and ultimate cognition only in the divine Unity. Thus, "realizing" was a favorite expression among the players. They considered their Games a path from Becoming to Being, from potentiality to reality...We would scarcely be exaggerating if we ventured to say that for the small circle of genuine Glass Bead Game players the Game was virtually equivalent to worship.
